Our Story
Growing up, I trained for cross-country skiing during my teens, and Sauna (Banya) was our ultimate place for muscle recovery. The heat and steam soothed and detoxified our sore muscles, preparing us for the next day’s training, and upcoming competitions. Banya was a way of life for us and it was an essential part of our weekly routine. We relied on it for both, health and hygiene.
When we moved from Russia to America in the early 90s, the options for local sauna’s was little to none. We searched for a traditional wet sauna (Banya), but struggled to find one that met our needs.
Once we established a home in Oregon, we decided to take matters into our own hands and built a traditional sauna for our personal family use. This allowed us to return back to the routine of our youth, and have Banya with family and friends regularly. Over the years our sauna has served us well and we enjoyed the benefits it provides, from supporting our immune system during cold & flu season to rest and relaxation from a busy week.
As the years went by, the urge to share our expertise, knowledge, and love for the sauna grew stronger. We recognized that the benefits we experienced—both physical and mental—were something others would also enjoy. Although we have ventured into various business opportunities over the years, our hearts have always led us back to the roots of our sauna experience.
Now, we are committed to sharing this precious tradition with our community, creating a space where others can foster restoration, relaxation, and healing. Our sauna is not just a place to unwind; it is a bridge to well-being, where people can come together, rejuvenate, and forge lasting memories. We hope to inspire others to embrace the healing power of the sauna, just as we have throughout our life.
We look forward to sharing this experience with you are helping you embark on your sauna (Banya) journey.
